BSRW work crew just east of bridge No. 323. Here someone has

severed the line and excavated the roadbed.  About 40 feet of rail

and roadbed has been removed, but will be repaired.

About 100 yards of rail west of the bridge was temporarily removed

so that the damaged right-of-way could be graded and re-contoured.

Bridge No. 319 at Opperman was choked with tree stumps and

logs as a result of the floods of June 1998 and September 2004.

Leslie Equipment kindly provided this trackhoe which was used to clear

the debris and re-shape the right-of-way.  Southeastern Equipment has

also provided equipment crucial to rebuilding this section of railroad.

and the right-of-way re-shaped, March 2009.

The embankment of the Buffalo Fork of Wills Creek, adjacent to

the bridge, was also contoured/profiled with nice results.

the future.
